New Years Eve - Welcome 2010

Pa bought some fireworks and sparklers while he was in New Mexico for the grandkids for New Year's Eve.  Since we didn't want the kids to stay up too late, we decided to have a little celebration around 9 just for them.  Andrea and Zane were a little unsure of the loud firecrackers and the sparklers.  After a bit of convincing, they both warmed up to the sparklers and had a good time.  The firecrackers, on the other hand, were still too loud and they waited inside. 

 Grandma Ann and Pa were nice enough to keep the boys so we could go visit some friends for a while on New Year's Eve.  The Pedersens were here from Texas and it was so fun to see them and the McCoys, Johnsons and Ashers.  We have hung out with them for at least the last 6 or so New Years Eves. 

We look forward to what this new year will bring and are grateful for all the many ways the Lord blessed our family during 2009.
