Granny

My Granny passed away on February 8th, 2010.  She had been sick and struggling with her health for a while.  While we are very sad that she is no longer with us, we are glad that she is so longer in pain and reunited with so many loved ones who have passed on before her.
Granny and some of her Great Grandkids
She married my mom's dad just 3 weeks short of 19 years ago, the weekend Randall was born.  She is really the only Grandma Brinton that I remember.  She was always so full of life.  She loved to travel with my grandpa.   She also danced with the Retirement community that she lived in before she married Grandpa.  She had us come and dance with them twice.  Once we danced the Macarena and the other time was a montage of an Andrews Sister's song and Love Potion #9.  She also taught us to line dance.

She loved to party and never missed a chance to get together with the family.  She was the life of the party for sure.  Even after Grandpa died 10 years ago, she stuck around with our family, as crazy as we all are.
Granny and Zane - 7-5-06
It was very hard to be away from family when Granny died, but I was glad that I was close enough to be able to drive home for her funeral.  I was nervous to drive home by myself, but it all turned out great and we were able to spend 5 days in Arizona with family.

I really have a hard time saying goodbye, but it was so fun to learn so many new things about Granny that I didn't know before.  She was such a great lady and we will miss her terribly.  I love you Granny!
