EARTHQUAKE!

I felt my first earthquake today!  It was about 4:55 and we were at the park.  I was standing on the sidewalk talking to a friend from the ward.  Mike was over in the wood chips pushing the boys on the swings.  I thought I felt the earth move under me, but didn't say anything until the second roll of the earth.  I said something and she said it was an earth quake.  I am feeling quite"smug" that I was able to feel an earthquake.  I didn't even feel the one that they felt in AZ.  I have heard one coming...it sounded like a big truck, but didn't feel it.  I came home after mutual tonight and found out it was a 5.4 centered in Palm Springs.  Not a huge one, but I am glad that I now know what an earthquake feels like.  Plus, Mike didn't feel it so I got to explain it to him instead of the other way around.  I am turning into a Californian I guess!
