Zane is just cracking me up lately. He is starting to talk so much more. He points out family in pictures, says animal sounds and even communicates his needs better. It is so fun to hear all of his new words. I think that it has definitely helped that his ears are finally clear of fluid after so many months. After church on Mother's Day, Zane found his favorite cowboy hat and put it on. he is so cute in it.

Then he asked for his glasses, because what is a cowboy without his glasses. Who cares about clothes, just be careful riding a horse. (p.s. I had to edit these before posting for Zane's modesty, but sometimes the editing looks really silly so just ignore it please.)

On the 16th, Mike went to Father and Sons with my dad and Randall. Zane and I went over for a "Girls Night" with my mom, sister Christi and her two girls, Andrea and Emily. Christi's son and husband were doing a side job, so Zane was the only boy. No big deal right, he's only two. We watched 27 dresses and the kids had a blast playing. Soon Zane came out of the playroom wanting to put a skirt on. Andrea and Emily were playing dress up in skirts and Zane wanted to be included. We thought it was funny. He kept pulling the skirt up to his armpits. When I showed Mike the picture, he said, "You are definitely going to Father and Sons with me next year." If I knew that dressing him in a skirt was all it took to get Mike to take Zane, we would have tried it sooner. Just kidding. Zane is already going to go with the boys on trips as soon as he is out of diapers. But hey, we have pictures of Mike in dresses when he was little. Like father, like son.
