A Baby Or A Girly Man?

I realized that each month I have been posting just on Nate and I don't want to leave Zane out. Plus, I had some cute pictures to post.
On October 28th, I was in the office printing some stuff off for enrichment night at church. Zane wanted to come with me, but was way too quiet on the other side of the desk. When I looked over, he was wearing Grandma's pink glasses and playing with her sewing box. He was cutting thread with scissors (his latest fascination) and trying out the rotary cutter. I quickly cleaned everything up, but while I was cleaning things I thought, "Why did I not take a picture of this?" Zane LOVES wearing Grandma's glasses so I knew he would keep them on as we ran into our house to grab the camera. I love his face in the first picture. I admit that I reposed him for the picture, but his face looks like he just got caught with his hand in the sewing box. (I am just so clever...I crack myself up!)
One of Zane's other favorite things is to climb into the swing, thankfully he usually waits until Nate is out of the swing before he climbs in. Halloween morning, I caught Zane with his pillow, blanket and doggies relaxing in the swing watching Cars (his favorite movie, we seriously turn it on at least once a day.)
"Mom, don't take my picture. I will be so embarrassed if any of my friends see me like this!"
When we got home after Trick-or-Treating, Daddy was playing X-Box with Uncle Bret and so Mommy got to get the boys ready for bed by herself. We had a blast with baths and then hanging out all nice and clean. Nate was sucking on his toes while I got Zane all lotioned up and diapered. I asked "Nate, do those toes taste good? Zane, Nate's toes must taste good!"
Zane thought he would see for himself and climbed up and started sucking on Nate's toes. After I stopped laughing, I told Zane that that was enough of eating Nate's toes. He decided that he should eat his own then. Zane laid down next to Nate and started copying him.
When I tried to get a picture, Nate would stop sucking his toes just as I took the picture. Zane kept trying to force Nate to eat his toes again.
I finally got out the video camera and Zane enjoyed watching himself in the view finder that I flipped around and preforming for me. I was so excited to get some cute video of Zane just being Zane. I used the regular video camera, which is too hard to transfer to the blog, so you'll just have to believe me when I tell you that it was so hilarious!
Zane is adjusting to having Rubi live here full time and having to share Grandma. He has been really whiny and clingy. However, he has enjoyed playing with Rubi and especially playing with her toys. On the 4th, I caught Zane "driving" Rubi's princess car with his special gloves.
He just went around and around the island in the kitchen. Earlier in the week, we found Zane driving the princess car with Rubi's pink binky in his mouth with her pink blanket wrapped around his shoulders. I am glad to see that my little boy is secure in his manhood!
