Family Home Evening

I don't know what you all do for Family Home Evening, but around the Gifford home it is never a dull moment. We had a great time watching Chuck in 3D on February 3rd. The kids thought that it was so funny that we were all wearing such weird glasses.
Usually, our FHE's consist of a song, a short lesson, a family prayer and then a mean game of Duck, Duck, Goose. Zane and Rubi know that when we kneel to pray, it means that the game follows. At the beginning of January, we had the missionaries over for dinner. After dinner, they shared their message and Papa invited them to kneel and pray with us. As we knelt, Zane got very excited and was saying "Duck, Duck, Goose!" I had to try to keep myself from laughing during the prayer. He gets so excited to play with the whole family. Jen and Cody left their kids at Grandma's while they ran errands on February 16th. After our lesson on the temple from the Friend, we prayed. As soon as the prayer was over Zane was yelling Duck, Duck, Goose again. I told him that we had to clean up the toys. I have never seen him move so fast to clean things up. Hazen wasn't too sure what was going on, but Rubi was already sitting on the floor waiting before we even had everything picked up. Here is a slide show of some action shots from our game. It is a shame that we didn;t get any pictures of Chaney playing while she was pregnant. I have never seen a pregnant woman get up off the floor so fast and move so quickly, and often while holding Rubi. We were all impressed.
