Nate is 7 Months Old!

Nate turned 7 Months on January 26th. He is getting so big and enjoying life even more now that he is starting to get around on his own.

Stats:
Nate is weighing in at about 18 pounds this month.

Eating Habits:
Nate starting eating fruit this month. He has had apples, bananas, pears, peaches and apricots. He loves all of them and loves to eat. He still is not very good at eating, but he is getting the hang of it. He still eats about 4 ounces every two hours and is mostly drinking pumped milk out of a bottle for Mommy's sake.

Sleeping Habits:
Nate started the month out great by sleeping through the night for almost two weeks. Now he is getting up at least once a night. He still sleeps well in his swing and ends up there often if he won't go back to sleep in the middle of the night. Nate likes to take several naps a day. He starts around 10 or 11 for about an hour. Then he sleeps for about 2-3 hours around 1 and then about another hour sometime in the evening. We try to have him in bed around 8. We really don't have a set schedule at our house, but Nate doesn't seem to mind. I have to take pictures of his "That can't be comfy" sleeping positions and in the exersaucer I think takes the cake.
Firsts This Month:
On the 26th of December, we went out to breakfast at Rosa's. Nate sat in the high chair at a restaurant for the first time. He really seemed to enjoy it.
We are excited to announce that Nate slept in a crib for the first time on January 13th for his nap. He slept for 3 hours and Mommy had to wake him up so that we could go pick up Uncle Randall from school. This was a turning point. Mommy and Daddy decided that Nate would no longer sleep in the bassinet. That night, while Mommy was at Bunko, Daddy moved Nate's crib into the hallway closer to our door and put the bumper in. Nate slept in his crib the next night and things went well. Nate and Zane now sleep together in the same room and Zane sleeps through Nate's middle of the night cries. HALLELUJAH!
Nate tested out his sitting skills by sitting in the wagon at the zoo on January 19th. He seemed to enjoy being a big kid. They just grow up too fast.
Nate tried out the Johnny Jumper on January 13th. At first he looked like "What am I supposed to do in here?" Then he seemed to get the hang of it with Zane and Daddy's help. He may be a great jumper like his brother. (please excuse the video being sideways. I forgot to not turn the camera sideways on a video and don't know who to rotate it.)

And Because It Makes Us Laugh:
Nate the ghost playing with his blanket.
Pa put Nate in a box with foam blocks on January 4th and Nate thought he was in Heaven. He sat there for about 30 minutes. He played with the blocks and peeled the box. I wish I had that box at my house.
Nate checking himself out in the mirror.
Mommy put Nate down to play with Rubi's mirror toy while we ate dinner on December 29th. Zane ran over and was helping Nate figure it out. It was so cute.
