On January 19th, my niece and nephew had school off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We decided to go to the zoo and my brother-in-law, Jason, was able to join us. It was one of the most relaxing trips to the zoo that Christi and I have ever had, however, it was not relaxing for Jason. He pulled the wagon and disciplined the kids and we were so glad to have him with us. He also took the kids into the petting zoo and Zane even touched the goats this time.

AndreaI had a heck of a time trying to take pictures. I could never get all four kids to look at the camera at the same time. It was beautiful weather though, so I guess they were just too busy enjoying everything.
As we were looking at the flamingos, we noticed a swan building a nest in their exhibit. I have loved swans my whole life and was fascinated by her making her nest. I had to take video of it.

I'm surprised we didn't run into you like we always do on holidays. We were all there that day too. We love the zoo!
