Randall's Farewell - The Farewell Party
On Saturday the 13th, Julie had a party at her house for Randall's birthday and for all the family to be able to see him before he left. But before the party, I went and ran errands with my mom and then Mike took me out to our favorite restaurant, Rosa's, for our anniversary. It was so yummy and reminds us how much we miss great Mexican food where we live. After lunch, while I got the pinata and other food I was taking ready, Mike washed and vacuumed out our van. Oh how it needed so TLC and how much I appreciate Mike's hard work. Then it was off to the party. It was the first time I was able to see all the great concrete work that Bret did in their backyard. I love the stamped concrete walkway around their yard that looks like wood planks. It looks so real. He did such a great job. I was also able to see most of my cousins, some I had not seen in a long time. I was able to finally see Kamden (Nic and Jessica's boy born the day before we moved to CA) and Brooklyn (Lawryn's daughter born in December) for the first time in person. They are both adorable. We had hamburger and hot dogs and all kinds of yummy goodies. Bret also built a fire pit into their backyard and it was so fun to sit around the fire and catch up with so many family members. The kids had a blast with the pinata and then running around wearing the left over pieces. Unfortunately, Pa and Julie got the pictures on their camera so I will have to add them when I get them.
