Easter Egg Hunting

Our friend Colette had a little Easter egg hunt for the three little boys on our street on Saturday. Sam is 3 days older than Zane and Caylum is one and Zane and I used to babysit him.
Zane, Caylum, Sam

It was so fun, except that Zane did not really get the whole point of the egg hunt. Sam was running and picking up as many eggs as he could. Caylum figured it out and picked up a lot of eggs. Zane, however, would get an egg and open it up to find out what was inside. He just wanted to eat the candy inside.
Colette gave us some of the eggs, so I thought that maybe if Zane saw the older cousins hunting eggs, then he would figure it out. First we tried it at Grandma and Papa's house. Zane found the first egg and opened it right away. of course he found the one egg with nerds in it, opening it and dumping on the carpet. That was the
He really enjoyed the car Grandma and Papa gave him that runs with a screwdriver.
On Sunday after dinner, I helped the kids have another hunt. Emily was great at it, as were the big kids, but Zane was more interested in dressing up and then in playing with the sticks and sprinklers.
Bethany did get one picture of Zane with an egg though.

Fun Egg Hunts! It was fun to watch Parker find eggs/eat candy this year, since he was 2 months old last Easter! That is a cute pic that Bethany took of him:)
