Our 5th Anniversary

On March 15th, 2003, Mike and I were married in the Arizona Temple. It seems like just yesterday, but yet so much has happened in the last 5 years. It was such a wonderful day. We have had wonderful days, and some not so wonderful, in the last five years and we still wouldn't change it for anything. I wish I could find the cd of the rest of our wedding pictures, but I am glad that I found this one.
I love that Mike always make me feel special. This year, he let me sleep in and went to Sam's Club before I got up and bought me flowers and a skirt (so i would have something new to wear while I am pregnant...he his very thoughtful). We went out to a movie Saturday afternoon and then out to dinner. the night was almost ruined when we realized that Mike had lost his cell phone at the theater, but thankfully was able to go back and find it. It was a very laid back day, since Mike isn't walking too well, and I wasn't feeling great. However, it was so wonderful to spend the day together and remember why we are still in love.

I am so grateful to Mike for putting up with me for all these years and for being so wonderful to me. I love his sense of humor and his laid back attitude. I don't think that Mike knew what he was getting into when he married me, but I am glad that he puts up with me and helps me laugh at myself. He is a wonderful dad and I know that I couldn't raise Zane by myself.
