Last night, Zane wanted a banana off of the counter before bed. I took out his pacifier and told him to say "Banana." He signed "please" and then when I gave him the banana he said "Nana" in the cutest little voice you have ever heard. Mike and I were floored. It was the first time that he repeated something that he wanted. This is a big step. I wanted to call everyone I knew and brag, but I resisted. However, I did have to get onto my blog and brag about it, even if it is a day late. maybe Zane will start talking soon after all.
