Goodbye Toyota

So Mike and I have talked quite a bit about getting a bigger car. We love our Toyota Corolla, but it just barely fits our family. Mike has put it up on Craigslist a few times and we figured that it would sell if it was supposed to. Well, we put it up on a Friday at the end of March, and it was sold by Sunday. All of this was also going on while the family was out of town, Mike was switching jobs and so working at both his old and new jobs and the kids were sick. It was crazy but the Toyota which served us well for 4 years was gone.

This left us carless for a little while until we found a new car...well new to us minivan. It is a 2002 Honda Oddessy. It has power sliding doors, great AC, and two remotes to control the doors (which is a really unusual when it comes from the auction, and they both work, yay!) and I love it. Mike is getting used to driving a minivan. I love the space and that Zane can get in and out by himself and can even open and close the doors from the outside. The best thing about it was that we were able to pay cash for it and we don't have a car payment. Woot Woot! Thank you Mike for getting me what I wanted!
On May 15th, I was babysitting Rubi and Ayla and we went over to visit Grandma Ann and Pa. I loved that I could just put all four kids in the van with two extra seats. The pictures aren't great, but I was so excited to have a full car with extra seats I had to document it.
