Randall's Oral Surgery

On July 2nd, Randall had his wisdom teeth out. He apparently was very funny. He repeatedly told the oral surgeon that he wanted his teeth before they started, but after he was under sedation. Afterwards, my mom gave him his teeth and he asked, "Why would I want these?" We all thought it was funny that he was so adamant about something so silly.

When my mom got him in the car, he tried for 10 minutes to text his girlfriend, Kylie, but all he got out was jibberish. Finally my mom convinced him to give her the phone so that she could call Kylie. He was very concerned that my mom was using his phone.

He got home and was very biligerent. He was only happy and civil to Kylie. I called my mom and she was telling me how he was not happy that Kylie was taking too long to get over there. He kept saying "It's after 1, why isn't she dressed and ready yet?" This coming from the kid who doesn't get up before 12 or 1 in the summer. Randall also kept saying that my mom was being unreasonable. I talked to him on the phone and he kept telling me that my mom was making him do things he didn't want to do, like take medicine, eat and put ice on his face. Meanwhile, my dad was out of town working in New Mexico, so my mom had to take care of Randall on her own. This meant that she was relying on us girls to check in on Randall while she was at work the next day.
The next morning, Julie got 3 phone calls from Randall before 8:30 to tell her about the little leprechaun on the kitchen counter that wouldn't let him have eggs with milk and cheese. My mom was in hte shower and he was hallucenating. I was supposed to go over and check on him when it was time for him to take his next medicine. Mike was going out so he was going to stop by there. I got a call from Randall saying that he was fine and didn't need me to check on him. Mike was already on his way, so I ignored Mike. Mike called a little bit later to tell me that Randall and the Jeep weren't at home. I called Randall only to find out that he had driven himself over to Kylie's house. I yelled "What!?!" so loud that it woke up Nate in the next room. He tells me that he isn't hallucenating anymore and that Mom had told him it was okay. Come to find out, he did call my mom but only to tell her he was fine as he was driving to Kylie's house. What a weasel! After that, we banned him from driving until he was no longer taking pain meds.
He looked like a chipmunk, and was very funny on meds. It gave us all a good laugh.
