We were so lucky that we were able to attend the Despain family Halloween party while we were in Arizona on October 23rd. It was so fun to see all the family and the kids loved being with their cousins.
We had it at Candlelight park and had chili and soup for dinner and of course had Pa's homemade rootbeer. Zane had so much fun helping Pa stir it before the party that he didn't even want to get dressed.
There were so many cute costumes at the party. Julie, Bret and Ayla were the Red, Yellow and Green M&M's. (I didn't get a picture of all three together...bummer)
Olivia was Mary's Little Lamb, and the cutest Lamb I've ever seen!
Baby Becca was the traditional pumpkin. All of Christi's kids have worn this costume their first Halloween! I made the pumpkin stem hat sitting on her lap, it was a little scratchy. :(
My cousin Jason and his wife Kristy came to announce their bun in the oven. Jason was the baker. We all got a kick out of their very ingenious costume. We are so excited for them!
We also had a ton of fun activities and games for the kids. Bethany did face painting, Julie did cupcake decorating, Pa had a fish pond, Bret ran the cake walk, Jason was in charge of the ring toss and tic tac toe, Randall and Kylee ran pin the wart on the witch and Randa and Mike brought the hanging doughnut game.
If you are wondering where my kids were, you wouldn't have found them at the games, they were too interested in the sand
