Christmas 2009 Part 1

"What is all the fuss about?"

Christmas was so fun this year. Both boys seemed really into everything. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. We had a Mexican feast, white elephant gift exchange and the kids acted out the nativity. Jen and Cody spent the night on Christmas Eve, so everyone but Ben (who is in the Philippines) was under one roof. Grandma Gifford bought all the kids matching jammies.
Before opening presents, the kids piled onto Grandma and Papa's bed for pictures. They all loved having matchy jammies. But these four aren't at all excited for Christmas Morning, right?
Papa and his two oldest grandsons.
Here were all the "kids" waiting to see what Santa brought. Santa brought Mommy a new camera, and she loves taking pictures with it. Daddy got motorcycle pants from Santa.
Santa's gift to Zane was a big hit. He loved his tractor so much that the refused to open any other presents and would have been just fine with only that gift. He ran straight to his tractor and immediately started pushing the buttons and making the noises. You can see how he is more interested in what Gabe was doing with the tractor than with the present he was opening.
Hazen was sad when he saw Zane's tractor, thinking he didn't get one, until we pointed him over to his truck. A little while later, we didn't see the boys and we found them and their trucks playing in the other room.
Nate loved his bike from Santa. He got it right away and loved sitting on it. We just need to keep the other kids off of it.
Here is the chaos of Christmas morning.
