Wow, it has been a long time since I last posted. Things have been so crazy. I have barely found time to get everything done and unfortunately, blogging hasn't been at the top of my list. I have a ton of pictures, so bare with me on then next few posts, they are going to be long.
My cousin, Belinda Smith, bought "Rollin' In The Dough," now called Sassy C's. It is located in Citrus Height Fruit Stand, southeast corner of Greenfield and McKellips. I helped her out a lot in December so that kept me busy. They make the most fabulous cinnamon and orange rolls, cookies, cakes and wonderful soups and sandwiches. I am so grateful to all of my family for helping with the boys so that I could work. I have worked at Rollin' In The Dough since 2002 and have been there through now three owners. I really love it and it is so nice to be able to help Belinda out. It is also nice to have a little extra money around the holidays and the break from the boys is appreciated, I think more so by the boys than me.
On Dec. 3rd, Zane went visiting teaching with me and found a fun Santa hat with an attached beard. He kept himself entertained for quite a while. I didn't get a great picture, but you get the idea.
On the 6th, I worked at the Desert Club Idea House and Mike took the boys to my parent's pancake breakfast with Santa. Pictures with Santa are always fun, especially when magically they were able to get a picture just before Zane started screaming from being too close to Santa. You know he is pretty scary.
Nate was very interested in Santa's suit.
My mom was watching my sister's kids and then kept my boys for the afternoon as well. Zane has so much fun playing with the cousins and Nate loves to watch all the kids play. Since Christi doesn't have a blog yet, I thought I would post some pictures of her kids too.
Andrea came armed with quite a list for Santa.
Jayden thought Santa was pretty comfy to sit on.
Emily wasn't too sure about this Santa guy, but since the older kids were so excited, she was too.
My mom is such a great Grandma. All the kids love going to Grandma Ann's becasue she always has something fun to do. On Dec. 7th, after Sunday dinner my mom helped all the kids decorate gingerbread houses. Zane won the award for eating more candy than actually went on his house. The kids had a blast and I was happy that I didn't have to deal with the mess. I really appreciate that my mom works so hard to make so many great memories with my kids. I remember all the fun things my grandparents did with us and am so glad that my kids will have just as many, if not more memories than I do.
This really helped us get into the Christmas spirit!
