After we opened presents at home, we went over to my parents' house to open presents. Dad made breakfast before we opened gifts. It was such a fun time. Mom surprised the older grandkids and moms with tickets to go see The Lion King on stage. We were all so excited.

Randall made my mom a gorgeous bread box in wood working class. He did such a good job. Now maybe Brutus, the great dane, will stop eating all the bread off the counter. Nice wrapping job Randall!

Pa got an EZ-Up from the whole family and Grandma Ann got 2 boxes full of dress up clothes. Both loved their gifts.

Nate thought eating wrapping paper and bows was more fun than opening presents.

Ayla made a great gift too.

As soon as we opened presents with my family, we went over to Granny's house. They had waffles with strawberries and ice cream and sausage. We did not eat because we had to run home for Christmas dinner. It is the full Thanksgiving spread and was so yummy.

At 5 pm, Ben called from the Philippines on the computer. We spent a long time chatting with him, but couldn't use the video like the last couple of times. He got a new mission president and so no video was allowed. We were good and did not push the button to see him, but we can't wait to see him on April 30th.

While everyone was talking to Ben, I walked into the playroom and found Zane and Hazen dancing to the music on Zane's tractor. It was cute.
We felt so blessed this Christmas to have so many wonderful things and a beautiful house to live in. We are so grateful to be able to spend the holidays with our family. We are grateful to be able to spend time celebrating the birth of our Savior.
