On December 13th, we went to the Despain Family Christmas Party. We had fabulous Italian food. We took a family picture, but of course I don't have a copy of that. I didn't take any pictures on my camera, so I stole these pictures from my cousin, Marti's, blog. Thanks Marti!
After dinner, we opened presents. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the clothes, coloring book and crayons, and bath book. The boys loved their gifts and fight over the bath book every night. Zane loves to wear his Motorcycle shirt.
Grandma requested that we go caroling. We had a great time singing to people in my parent's neighborhood. Next year, we just need a bigger trailer since there were too many people to fit on one trailer.
When we got back from the caroling, we our traditional white elephant gift exchange. The best gift was opened by my cousin Jessica. My brother-in-law brought some pants that were donated to Gavin's garage sale last year. They were from a large man, in all directions. Jessica and Cortney each fit into one leg of the pants. We were all laughing until we were crying. The axe went with Cortney's gift of workout sweatband and the axe.
It was such a fun night. Grandma and Grandpa will probably be on a mission next year so this was a special year with the whole family together.
