Nate Is 12 Months Old!

And what a cute one year old he is.

Stats:
Height: 31 Inches
Weight: 24.2 pounds
(Gotta love that new doctors don't give the same stats the same way.)

Feeding Habits:
(enjoying his Mexican French Toast, especially the avocados 6-3-09)
Nate no longer will eat baby food. He wants real people food. He also is done with formula. Nate is thoroughly enjoying whole milk. He still loves to put everything in his mouth that he shouldn't. We just shake most of it off as sensory experiences. Nate loves leaves, dirt, and rocks, but also likes chicken, beef, cheese, and eggs.

Sleeping Habits:
Nate is ready for bed about 7 pm and sleeps until about 7 or 8 in the morning. We are grateful that he is such a good sleeper. He still likes to take 2 naps most days, at 10 and 2 or 3.

Any Firsts:
First night without Mommy and Daddy. On June 7th and 8th, Mommy and Daddy took a trip to California to find our new house. Nate and Zane stayed with Grandma Ann and Pa during the day on Sunday, at home with Randall overnight and Monday was spent at Julie's house. Mommy and Daddy got home late Monday night and were happy to learn that Nate did great even without us there.

Nate is cruising around furniture, stands on his own and has even taken a few steps, but still crawls every where. He is a fast little crawler, but even with Mommy telling everyone that she wanted him to walk by his first birthday, it hasn't happened yet.

Nate has finally figured out that his Christmas present is really cool to sit and stand on. Zane now has competition for the bike.
Nate also has figured out how to climb up on and get his leg over the motorcycle at Grandma Ann and Pa's house. He is so thrilled with himself. He even tries to stand up on it. One more thing that Zane has to fight for.

Nate and Rigg have the same blankets and on 6-15-09 they were fighting over the same one. Thankfully Nate gets distracted easily and Rigg won the blanket.
