Hazen's birthday is 4 days after Zane's and so they get to enjoy back to back parties. This year, Hazen had a superhero party on June 17th. Jen did such a great job with the party. The party started with each kids getting to draw pictures of villians to be used later on. Then they each got to search for their special power in a cooler full of packing peanuts. The kids loved the peanuts, especially Rigg who kept trying to eat them.
Jen had made each child a personalized cape and mask. After all the superheros had their powers and capes, they were off in search of the villians, who were all the grown ups hiding all over the house. When the villians were caught, they were put in jail. After that, the kids got to go outside and throw water balloons at the villians they had drawn. The boys really liked this part.
All of the sudden, the villians, Aunts and Uncles, attacked with silly string. The girls loved this, but the boys were too scared and this resulted in tears. Jen and cody served hotdogs and salads, and then presents were opened and cake was eaten. It was a fabulous party and the kids had a blast. It was a great idea Jen.
